Realty major Macrotech Developers, erstwhile Lodha Developers, on Monday said it will reduce net debt by 24 per cent to Rs 12,700 crore post its initial public offer (IPO), which hits the capital market on Wednesday. Mumbai-based Macrotech Developers has sold properties worth Rs 50,000 crore in the last seven years (FY14 to FY20), making it the largest developer in terms of annual sales bookings, its Managing Director Abhishek Lodha told reporters in a virtual press conference. The company will launch its IPO on April 7 to raise Rs 2,500 crore through a fresh issue of shares. The issue will close on April 9. The price band is Rs 483-486 per share.

Governor Greg Abbott said he declined an invitation to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Texas Rangers home opening game due to Major League Baseball s decision to move the All-Star game from Georgia in response to the state s new voting law.
In a statement, the league said the decision came after engaging in thoughtful conversations with Clubs, former and current players, the Players Association, and The Players Alliance. Major League Baseball fundamentally supports voting rights for all Americans and opposes restrictions to the ballot box, Commissioner of Baseball Robert D. Manfred, Jr., said.

Scooter Braun has officially promised artists like Ariana Grande, J Balvin and Justin Bieber major equity payouts after HYBE agreed to buy Ithaca Holdings.
The entire deal between Braun and BTS’s agency HYBE has reportedly come up to $1.05 billion and a sum of $40 million will be paid in equity to staff and artists out of stake.
According to
Billboard, a total of 39 people, including Braun himself, and Big Machine Label Group CEO Scott Borchetta are reported to gain $161 million in shares from the transaction.

Both the ruling and main opposition parties have claimed the high early voting turnout in Wednesday s by-elections would work to their advantages, helping their candidates win the Seoul and Busan mayoral races.

The men s ODI World Cup could increase from 10 to 14 teams under major plans to reform the competition and help globalise the sport.
The number of teams in the 50-over World Cup was controversially reduced to 10 at the 2019 tournament and the competition is planned to remain a 10-team affair for the 2023 event. But support is growing for it to be expanded to 14 countries from 2027.
